I am a Sister of St. Joseph in Canada. I entered into the Community of the Sisters of St. Joseph in the Diocese of London in 1955. I lived in London from 1955-1968, taught in the schools for 4 years, then went on to Sarnia and taught for 6 years. From there, I moved to St. Thomas in 1975 and continued teaching until 1996. In 1996 I retired from the teaching profession after 31 years. I stayed to do Pastoral Work at Holy Angels’ Parish, and I continue to do this until this day.
I continue to live in St. Thomas where the Sisters of St. Joseph started to teach in 1879, and resided at the convent which was on Holy Angel’s premises. (now a parking lot) The Sisters moved among the people living out the charism of unity and reconciliation for the sake of healing among people, the earth and bring all in harmony with God’s plan for all of us.
