April 4, 2022A Scam Email has resurfaced claiming to be from theElgin Roman Catholic Family of Parishes.
This is NOT due to any personal information being comprised.
Only Elgin Roman Catholic Family of Parishes Staff have recieved these emails.We wish to use this oppurtunity to remind our Parishioners of the importance of being aware of our online surrondings.- Important: The Diocese of London and Elgin RC Family of Parishes will never ask you to send gift cards or other monies online through email.
- Check the sender address: if you do not recgonize the name or it appears to be a randomly generation number it could be scam.
- Call the Main Office: If you are ever unsure about the person you are communicating with please contact the Main Office at 519-631-3640 and our Office Staff will assist you with next steps.
