Novena for Gospel of Life

Fr. Ernie Deslippe Council 1467 in St. Thomas will begin a Novena for the Gospel of life on Thursday March 16, 2023 with fixed intentions for 9:15am morning Mass at St. Anne’s and continue the following eight days until the conclusion of 12:00pm mass at Holy Angels on Friday March 24, 2023.
Prayer cards will be available at masses in late February & March. Other prayers and daily intentions that can be made during the offertory of mass will be printed ahead of time. Some posters will go up at Holy Angels and St. Anne’s closer to the date.
The novena will bring spiritual hope and support for the protection of life in advance of this year’s “Knights of Columbus day of the unborn child” on March 25th. We are asking all members of the Elgin County Family of Parishes and especially all fellow Knights and their families to be involved in this very important novena for our nation and our times. Life is increasingly being opposed through contraception, abortion, MAiD, poverty and forces opposed to the growth, stability and support of the family.
