helping those in need this Christmas Season.
Because of our present restrictions due to COVID 19, we ask that
Christmas Gift Donations are NOT DROPPED OFF at our Churches but rather brought directly to the organizations we have supported in the past.
Please see the following instructions for drop off locations.
ST. ANNE’S & HOLY ANGELS’ CHRISTMAS CARE
Christmas Care, will once again, provide assistance to those families and individuals in need during the Christmas Season by providing a hamper of food and toys for the children. Toys, gifts, food donations,
Gift Cards, can be dropped off at Christmas Care at the Elgin Centre (old Zeller’s location inside the mall). Monetary donations can be made online at www.christmascarestthomas.com, by mail to P.O. Box 20016, St. Thomas. ON N5P 4H4, or dropped off in person. All donations must be received by Christmas Care before December 1st. Thank you for your continued support and generosity to help those in need in St. Thomas and Elgin County.
OLOS CHRISTMAS CARE OPTIMIST TOY DRIVE
Aylmer Optimist Toy Drive will once again take place this year. Gift donations can be dropped off at
55 Talbot Street, Aylmer Monday to Friday from 9 am to 4 pm. Other drop-off locations will be advertised in the local newspaper. Let’s come together as a town, and support each other, our brothers and sisters, this Christmas. Donations can be dropped off from November 30th to December 8th. Thank you for your support and generosity.
ST. MARY’S & ST. HELEN’S ANGEL TREE
St. Mary’s and St. Helen’s Parishes will once again help out with the West Elgin toy drive during this Christmas. They provide Christmas hampers to families in need. Donation of food, new gifts for the children, cheques or money orders will be accepted. The Dutton Food Bank is open on Tuesdays 9 – 12 noon or you can drop them off at West Elgin Daffodil Auxiliary (toys and gift cards); at the Dutton Foodland; or call Lynn at 519-859-2534 for an appointment. Donations for Rodney can be dropped off at the Rodney Foodmarket or call Sylvia at 519-785-2026 at the Rodney Caring Cupboard for an appointment. Donations for West Lorne can be dropped off at West Lorne Foodland, Ross and Co Salon, Fio Inc Hair Studio, PJ Gangle, West Elgin Community Health Centre (gift cards only). We ask that you drop off your donations between November 16 and December 5th. Thank you for your support and generosity.
